Like many people, I became accustomed to a fast pace, pressure and the demands of everyday life. For a long time, you simply keep going. But over time, my own health and personal experiences began to make me question what feeling genuinely well actually meant.
That became the beginning of a much broader exploration. I started to look differently at nutrition and physical health, but also at stress, emotions and the relationship we have with ourselves. I began to recognise how easy it can be to become disconnected from what we need, how we feel and even what feels right for us when so much of our attention is directed towards keeping up with life.
