Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 30 October 2026
These Terms & Conditions explain the basis on which I provide my Hypnotherapy and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) services.
Please read them before booking a paid session.
About my services
I am Sandrine Fuentes, a Hypnotherapy & Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner providing sessions online.
My work is intended to support personal change, emotional wellbeing, self-awareness and changes in patterns, behaviours and responses.
Hypnotherapy and NLP are complementary approaches. They are not a substitute for medical care, psychiatric care, psychological treatment or other appropriate healthcare.
I do not diagnose medical or mental health conditions, prescribe medication or advise you to stop or change medication or treatment prescribed by a qualified healthcare professional.
If I believe that my services are not appropriate for your circumstances, I may suggest that you seek support from another suitably qualified professional.
Free Exploratory Call
I offer a free exploratory call before paid work begins.
This conversation gives us an opportunity to discuss what you would like support with, ask questions and consider whether working together feels appropriate.
The exploratory call does not commit you to booking a paid session.
It is not intended to provide emergency, medical or crisis support.
Sessions
Individual sessions are provided online, normally through Zoom.
Sessions generally last between 60 and 90 minutes, depending on the work being undertaken.
The current fee for an individual session is £125, unless a different fee has been expressly agreed in advance.
There is no requirement to commit to a fixed number of sessions. We can consider what, if anything, would be useful next as the work develops.
Your participation
Hypnotherapy and NLP are collaborative processes.
I ask that you provide information that is reasonably relevant to our work and let me know about circumstances that may affect whether a particular approach is suitable for you.
You remain responsible for your own choices, decisions and actions outside our sessions.
Please let me know if you feel uncomfortable with an exercise or approach at any point. You may ask questions or choose not to continue with a particular exercise.
Online sessions
You are responsible for joining the session from a reasonably private and safe environment with a suitable internet connection and device.
You should not participate in a session while driving or carrying out another activity that requires your attention.
For remote work, I may ask you to confirm your physical location and appropriate emergency information where reasonably necessary for safety.
Technical difficulties can occasionally occur. If a significant technical problem prevents a session from taking place properly, we will agree an appropriate way forward, which may include reconnecting, rescheduling or completing the work at another time.
Payment
Payment for paid sessions is normally required before the session unless otherwise agreed.
Payments may be processed through Stripe or another payment method agreed with you.
Your booking is not considered fully confirmed until any required payment has been received.
Appointment cancellations and rescheduling
I understand that circumstances sometimes change.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a paid appointment, please give at least 24 hours’ notice where reasonably possible.
Where less than 24 hours’ notice is given, or you do not attend the appointment, the session fee may be retained or charged in full.
I recognise that genuine emergencies and exceptional circumstances can occur and these will be considered reasonably on an individual basis.
If I need to cancel or reschedule a session, I will give you as much notice as reasonably possible and will offer an alternative appointment or, where appropriate, refund any payment made for a session that cannot be provided.
This appointment cancellation policy is separate from any statutory cancellation rights you may have as a consumer.
Your statutory right to cancel
Where you enter into a contract for paid services with me online or at a distance, you may have a legal right to cancel the contract within 14 days without giving a reason.
If you ask me to begin providing services during this 14-day cancellation period, I will ask you to expressly request that the service begins during that period.
If you then exercise your statutory right to cancel after the service has begun, you may be required to pay a proportionate amount for services already provided.
Where a service has been fully performed during the cancellation period following your express request to begin early and your acknowledgement that your cancellation right will be lost once the service has been fully performed, your statutory right to cancel that service may end.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to limit or remove any rights you have under applicable consumer law.
Refunds
If you are entitled to a refund under applicable consumer law, it will be provided in accordance with those rights.
Outside those circumstances, a session that has already been provided is not normally refundable simply because the outcome was different from what you hoped or expected.
Where a prepaid session is cancelled or rescheduled, the appointment cancellation provisions above will apply.
Outcomes
Everyone responds differently to this type of work.
I cannot guarantee a particular outcome, result or timeframe, and no statement on my website, in an exploratory call or during a session should be understood as a guarantee of a specific result.
This does not affect my responsibility to provide my services with reasonable care and skill or any other rights you have under consumer law.
Confidentiality
What you share with me in connection with our work will be treated confidentially and handled in accordance with my Privacy Policy.
Confidentiality may have limits where disclosure is required by law, where there is a serious concern about immediate risk of harm, where safeguarding obligations arise, or where disclosure is otherwise reasonably necessary to meet legal or professional obligations.
Where appropriate and lawful, I will aim to discuss this with you.
Records and personal information
I may keep appropriate records relating to our work together.
Personal information and client records are handled in accordance with my Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law.
Communication and check-ins
I may contact you after a session for a brief check-in to understand how the work has landed and what you have noticed.
Email, WhatsApp or SMS may also be used for practical communication where appropriate.
These communication channels are not intended to provide continuous therapeutic support, emergency assistance or crisis support, and I may not be able to respond immediately.
Emergencies and urgent support
My services do not provide an emergency or crisis service.
If you believe that you or another person is in immediate danger, please contact the appropriate emergency services or urgent healthcare service in your location.
Professional boundaries
Our relationship is professional.
Clear and respectful boundaries help protect both practitioner and client and support a safe working relationship.
I reserve the right to pause or end our work where continuing would be inappropriate, unsafe, outside my scope of practice, or where professional boundaries cannot reasonably be maintained.
Where appropriate, I will aim to communicate the reason and suggest other sources of support where I am able to do so.
You may also choose to end our work at any time, subject to any applicable payment, cancellation or statutory rights.
Intellectual property
Materials I create and provide as part of my individual practice, including written exercises, recordings where specifically provided, documents and other original resources, remain my intellectual property unless otherwise stated.
They are provided for your personal use and should not be copied, published, sold or distributed without permission.
Website information
I take reasonable care to keep information on my website accurate and up to date.
Website content is provided for general information and should not be treated as medical, psychological or other healthcare advice.
Links to third-party websites or services are provided for convenience. I am not responsible for the content, availability or privacy practices of third-party websites.
Changes to these terms
I may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in my services, professional requirements or applicable law.
The version that applies to a particular booking or agreement will be the version provided or made available at the relevant time.
Governing law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Nothing in these terms affects any mandatory consumer rights you may have under the law that applies to you.
